Claudio Delrieux received his BS in electric engineering (1990), and both his MS (1995) and PhD (2004) in computer science from the Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bah¿a Blanca, Argentina. Since 2007, he has been a full professor in the Electric and Computer Engineering Department at the university, and a principal investigator in computer graphics, image processing, and scientific visualization.

His research interests include computer graphics, image and video processing, scientific visualization, fractals and chaotic dynamic systems, and logic programming and automated reasoning.

He is the author or co-author of more than 20 journal papers, one textbook in computer graphics (in Spanish), and more than 200 conference papers, and is an editor of three conference proceedings. He has given several invited lectures at international and national conferences, and has been a lecturer at several workshops and seminars.

He has served as a chair or committee member for more than 20 international conferences, and serves as a reviewer for two international journals. Together with his group, he is engaged in several technological projects in partnership with the industry. He advises more than ten PhD candidates.

He was awarded a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship, which took place at the University of Denver in 2006 and 2007. He is member of IEEE and ACM.
