| Agliberto Alves Cierco has a PhD in general management from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), and a PhD in ocean engineering from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (Coppe) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He has been a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) since 1997, and currently teaches MBA courses related to quality, projects, and strategic planning; he has been coordinating MBA courses there since 1998.
Agliberto has many years of experience in the analysis and evaluation of investment projects, production, logistics, planning, management support, and quality management, having coordinated the implementation and perpetuation of organizational processes, including the research and implementation of new technologies and management training. Over the course of his career, he has served as strategic quality coordinator, marketing intelligence manager, administrative coordinator (director), operations planning manager, industrial director, project manager, and engineering manager, among other roles.
Agliberto has coauthored many books on management. He is a technical reviewer at Elsevier and has written reviews for CR since 2003. |
