Improving engineering
Benedicenti L., Succi G., Vernazza T. ACM SIGAPP Applied Computing Review9 (2):13-16,2001.Type:Article
Date Reviewed: Jun 18 2002

In this short note, the authors announce the use of a “modeling toolkit” (really a project management tool), which they state has been applied successfully by an Italian software firm. They offer the following description: “The modeling toolkit comprises a process modeling methodology, a metric set, and a graphic computer tool.” The length of the paper obviates any detailed understanding of the functioning of their “toolkit.” It also leaves open the question of the appropriateness of the paper’s title.
