Searching for revolution in structural computing
Hicks D., Wiil U. Journal of Network and Computer Applications26 (1):27-45,2003.Type:Article
Date Reviewed: Sep 24 2003

A new computing paradigm, structural computing, is discussed in this paper. This paradigm is perceived by many to hold significant promise for the developers of end-user applications and middleware services.

One section of the paper describes structural computing as a simple evolution. The next section analyzes why this could be a revolution in computing. The paper contains mostly text, with few graphics. Many references to other research papers are included throughout.

The paper is addressed to computer researchers; it contains a mostly theoretical (and rather difficult to read) discussion of the topic.
